Welcome to the Great Coromandel Arts Tour The Great Coromandel Arts Tour is a wonderul art adventure, you'll discover hidden studios, tucked away in this Southern Ocean paradise. Experience art in it's most raw form, and get right to the grass roots of one of New Zealands most creative areas.
The Tour has begun! the studios are open and the artists are ready to welcome you in.
The Tour runs for 3 weekends, The artists studios are open from 10am to 4pm, Friday through to Sunday on each of the three weekends. April 30 - May 2nd May 7 - 9 May 14 -16
The Tour Your ticket comes in the form of a unique and collectable map with details about the studio locations, and a brief summary of each artists' work. This map is your own personal tour guide and contains all the info you need to find the artists in their studios. They will be open and will welcome you into their space. Tickets are only $12.50, from Bounty in Thames, and The Source in Coromandel.
We recommend you plan to visit 6 or 7 artists in a day, take a few days out and enjoy the people, the place and the work. check out the itineraries page for some ideas to plan your trip.
Look for the tall, bright orange flags, they mark the studio locations, then follow the arrows.
This is an opportunity to experience the sacred creative spaces of the artists, many of whom are working full time and have a strong reputation here in New Zealand and overseas.

Opening Night
The Great Coromandel Arts Tour kicks off in great style with the LOUD! Art Auction on Friday the 30th April. We will be exhibiting and auctioning a piece of each artists work. it is a fun evening, join us for a glass of wine, some nibbles, and a bit of rawkus auctioneering.
doors open from 5:30pm, you'll have just over an hour to view work before it goes up for sale in an exciting live Auction
