I work from a bush clad studio looking out to the picturesque Coromandel Harbour. My work varies from handbuilt bowls and sculptural pieces, to domestic ware. These high fired bowls and platters are decorated with traditional reduction fired glazes.The Chinese Chun,Celadon, and Copper Red glazes offer special effects when in combination with the textural iron bearing clay body. The pieces are inspired by the forms and textures of the natural environment that surrounds me.
