Judy Drok's studio can be found on the corner of Tangiora & McMahon Ave, across the road from beautiful Whangapoua Beach.
This is definitely a change from the studio and portrait photography business Judy had for over 20 years in Devonport! They were the days of film, dark rooms, competitions and numerous awards for silver and gold winning images.
However, all the skills and artistic talents gained there have morphed into the digital era and a new genre of scenery photography.
Fortunately Whangapoua and the Coromandel Peninsula give endless opportunity for her creative, colourful and moving images.
There is also a picture framing studio for husband Erwin. He frames all Judy's work (which is printed on-site), stretches some of the canvases (which are printed commercially) and also takes in private framing work and repairs.
