In 1999 I moved to the amazing Coromandel. 2001 saw me starting the 'Diploma in Art & Creativity (Honours)' and spending the next four years immersed in this exciting extramural course, graduating Stage One in April 2005.

During this time I also discovered '5Rhythms' free form dance . The movement and healing this dance provides were the catalysts for a dance, movement, and music theme that pervaded the art work I created from there on.

Since 2005 I have also explored and progressed further into a light-hearted, expressionist form of portraiture. My focus surrounded musicians, singers and dancers, capturing moments of intensity, ecstasy, bliss, pure concentration, serenity and laughter ... snapshots of complete absorption.

And now it’s 2011 and my theme work has come back around to dance again. In March this year I completed the Honours stage of my diploma and July will see me starting stage three (advanced). I also anticipated continuing the exploration of dance. Lots and lots of fun ahead.
